A Bit About Me

I am a licensed physical therapist with extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports injuries, chronic pain, and geriatric rehabilitation in both the United States and Korea.
I am committed to providing one‑on‑one, evidence‑based care that helps each patient move better, feel better, and return to the activities that matter most.

About Me

Seokcheon(Peter) is a bilingual Korean–English physical therapist with over a decade of clinical experience in outpatient clinics, home health, and geriatric hospitals.
Seokcheon has treated a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic and sports injuries, post‑operative cases, chronic pain, neurological conditions, and age‑related mobility issues.

Seokcheon completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy training at Loma Linda University in California(2015) after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Inje University in Korea(2012).
His background includes working closely with orthopedic specialists, and other healthcare professionals, which allows him to provide coordinated, holistic care.

In the clinic, he focuses on thorough evaluations, clear education, and individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, tailored exercises, neuromuscular re‑education, and functional training.
His goal is to understand each patient’s story, reduce pain, restore movement, and help them regain confidence in their everyday life.

(Philosophy of Care)

He believes effective rehabilitation starts with listening carefully and building a trusting relationship with every patient.
Treatment is always customized to each person’s condition, goals, lifestyle, and cultural background, rather than using a one‑size‑fits‑all approach.

He strives to combine hands‑on techniques, targeted exercises, and patient education so that people not only get better in the clinic but also know how to take care of their bodies at home.
Ultimately, his mission is to stand by his patients at every step of their recovery and help them move with less pain and more freedom.
